Mixed Media Workshops with Nellie's Art
Helen Polden, a renowned local artist, will take the Nellie’s Art mixed media workshops. This is a gentle process to encourage your creative ideas. Be prepared for a giggle and a surprise at your result and hidden talent.
Using tissue paper, wrapping paper, magazine cuttings, inks and acrylic paints, create your own mixed media paintings with the addition of buildings, trees and quirky wildlife, ready to be mounted and framed!
All materials are included, but if you have specific materials or ideas you want to include you are very welcome to bring them along. SUITABLE FOR ALL ABILITIES.
You are welcome to arrive earlier than the start time to settle in with a cuppa.
The £55 fee can be paid by cash, cheque or credit card on the day.
It is very hard to park in my narrow street so please park to the car park next to Waitrose off Alma Road. We are behind Moles County store (in Waitrose car park), just walk down their side and back path. You will see my street at the end of the path and I’m the first house on the left.
There will be a variety of coffee, teas, squashes and snacks on tap. You are very welcome to bring any special milk and wine if you prefer.

Flowers in a Jug Collage
Wednesday 13th May 7pm - 9.30pm Design your own paper with tissue, wrapping paper and paint, then use this to cut out flower, leaf and jug shapes to create a colourful, unique collage. You will take home a picture ready be mounted and framed.

Wednesday 17th June 7pm - 9.30pm Design your own paper with tissue, wrapping paper and paint, then use this to create a magical, humpback whale collage by cutting out shapes and adding paint for detail. You will take home a picture ready be mounted and framed

Saturday 20th June 10.30am - 1pm Create your own mixed media hare collage using tissue, wrapping paper, magazines and inks. We will use acrylic paint to add detail to the hoppy hare - and watch it come to life! You will take home a picture ready be mounted and framed.
