Knitted and Crochet Wire Jewellery Workshops with Inga ChapmanInga will teach you how to knit and crochet with wire and beads to make unique jewellery (wearable art) . No knitting or crochet experience needed.
We will start with a demonstration of the basics to create a necklace or bracelet decorated with beads. Different techniques will then be explained to inspire attendees to create other pieces at home. There will be lots of finished examples to handle. Materials provided will be sufficient to create a finished necklace or bracelet. If you have any beads or pearls yourself which you would like to work with, please bring them along. 10.30am - 1.30pm. You are welcome to arrive earlier to settle in with a cuppa. The £55 fee can be paid by cash, cheque or credit card on the day. It is very hard to park in my narrow street so please park to the car park next to Waitrose off Alma Road. We are behind Moles County store (in Waitrose car park), just walk down their side and back path. You will see my street at the end of the path and I’m the first house on the left. There will be a variety of coffee, teas, squashes and snacks on tap. You are very welcome to bring any special milk and wine if you prefer.
